Hi my name is Charlotte Dugdale and I am a E-RYT 500 (Yoga Alliance Registered) Yoga Teacher Trainer. I have been practicing yoga for 12 years and I decided to travel to Rishikesh, India in early 2017 after a year of touring Asia to complete my Yoga Teacher Training in Hatha, Vinyasa and Ashtanga Primary Series. This led to me being an extremely experienced worldwide teacher. Once home I continued my education by training in Yin Yoga Teacher Training with Norman Blair (who trained directly with Paul Grilley and Sarah Powers – those who developed the Yin Yoga practice). I am trained in Yoga Nidra (Sleep Yoga), 85 hours in Prenatal Yoga and Mandala Vinyasa - a beautifully dynamic movement practice that encompasses the 5 element theory.
I like to ensure I keep a fun and energetic energy when it comes to my yang practice. My classes are often sweaty and seek a deeper exploration into your own practice with inversions, arm balances and experimental Savasanas. I also accompany this with some incredibly bangin’ playlists and dreamy hands on adjustments (if thats your thing).
On the contrary, my yin practices are soothing…a space to let go and let out any tension in the body and mind. A magical energy surrounds the space during these sessions, expect to travel through your consciousness, connecting to the deepest levels of your mind.
